Our first invention was the "Strut Channel Panel" – an innovative twist on the globally standardised Strut Channel framing system which is used extensively in the construction, mechanical and electrical industries.

By moulding the internationally standardised shallow (41mm x 21mm) Strut Channel shape into an 300mm wide extruded aluminium panel we created a new internal wall lining for thermal (reefer and insulated) container shells.
This provides a recessed structural framework that does not reduce the internal space but instead maximises flexibility of the container.
Pre-Insulated, Pre-Framed and Pre-Lined containers arrive from China on a one-trip basis ready for utilisation in any Cold-Storage, Dry-Storage or Conversion project.
Most ISO reefer and insulated container shells have a 2-part internal wall lining. Upper liner consists of vertically welded 0.7mm thick Stainless-Steel panels with shallow pressed corrugations for added strength. Lower scuff liner part is a horizontal one-piece 2.7mm thick extruded Aluminium Alloy section for added forklift protection.
Our enhanced design takes the horizontal scuff liner and turns its vertical - negating split materials. Within these vertical wall panels, we have moulded the standardised 41mm x 21mm Strut Channel form. This provides an integrated framing system to allow fitting and fixing of structural elements without any drilling or welding.
Insulated Containers with Strut Panel lining are manufactured to ISO 1496-2:2018 (thermal containers) standards and CSC certified by leading factories in China.
Continuous perimeter of high-quality Polyurethane (PUR) foam providing unrivalled insulation qualities.
Up to 2” wider internally than converted dry containers (including the recessed Strut Channel Panel framing system).
Flat sided shipping containers use 4% less fuel during road transport compared to standard corrugated units.
